A major part of the mission of MAPBD is to educate the general public, dog owners, and legislators about responsible dog ownership and fair dog laws. Our members attend several major dog shows each year and meet with the public, discuss their concerns, and distribute educational materials. Additionally, we provide information on current legislation and routinely meet with our lawmakers in Lansing. Our members are also available as speakers for your events or club meeting.
